This drawing plays with the relationship between overlapping grids of squares and equilateral triangles all sharing the same side dimension, resulting in a unique, irregular yet symmetrical 5 pointed star pattern and their internal (blue) pentagonal forms. In essence it’s a little free-play with 3, 4, 5. Syncopation.
