Totally freehand rendering of a classic tiling pattern made up of (rough) squares and equilateral triangles. The 5 and 6 pointed stars are constructed after the initial square and triangle tiling is complete, and once rendered, begin to suggest a whole array of shifting, vaguely visible circles and ovals generated primarily in the viewer’s mind’s eye. There, but not there. Now you see ‘em, now you don’t.
